Entertainment
Local Washington DC beers are just a 5-10 minute bike ride away from The Modern DC. Enjoy a happy hour or trivia night at Hellbender Brewing Company or fill your growler at 3 Stars Brewing Co. You’re sure to have a fun experience at either local brewery.
Groceries
Make it a one stop shop at Giant Food Store and Walmart Supercenter with a less than 10 minute bike ride from The Modern DC. Both stores have in-store pharmacies and household items that make shopping here convenient and easy.
Parks
Take some time to connect with nature and get outdoors at Rock Creek Park, 15-20 minutes from The Modern DC, and Fort Totten Park only three minutes away. Go for a hike at Rock Creek Park or have a picnic at Fort Totten Park. Either park makes for a nice change of scenery.
